Welcome to Simpson-Temple United Parish
Simpson-Temple United Parish is one congregation accountable to both the United Methodist and the ELCA Lutheran denominations. We have been together in ministry since May 1971. Based on Jesus’ words in the Great Commandment (“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and your neighbor as yourself”), and the Great Commission (“Go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always even to the close of the age”), we engage in our mission of Celebrating God’s Love, Spreading His Word, and Serving in His Name! |

Celebrate the season by remembering the greatest gift the Lord gave us—a savior, JESUS, born in a lowly stable and adorned by the light of a star. He brought HOPE to the forlorn, PEACE to the restless, JOY to the downtrodden, and LOVE to the world. |
